High-Security Vehicle Access Control Road Spike Barrier
A tyre killer, also known as a road spike barrier or tyre shredder, is a high-security vehicle access control device designed to prevent unauthorized vehicle access by puncturing tires, effectively disabling the vehicle. These robust security systems are typically deployed in high-security areas such as military bases, airports, government buildings, and other critical infrastructure facilities.
Product Construction & Design
The unit features a heavy-duty shell constructed from high-strength steel plates with a solid keel support structure for maximum durability. A rotating shaft installed within the casing connects to the tire-breaking teeth, with each solid tire tooth welded to the reliable rotating shaft at precise 140mm intervals.
The lifting and lowering movements are performed through the rotating shaft mechanism, while the top cover is engineered in accordance with DIN 1072 standards, providing exceptional strength capable of supporting vehicles exceeding 100kN.
Control System & Operation
The system utilizes motor power mode for operation, offering simple installation, easy maintenance, high safety performance, and extended service life. The motor controller features a waterproof external design and is driven by an electromechanical power unit internally, ensuring smooth lifting and lowering operations.
Multiple intelligent control options are available including remote mobile phone APP, license plate recognition, ground sensing linkage, traffic light linkage, and other advanced security integration capabilities.
Tire Breaking Mechanism
The tire killer barbs are manufactured from A3 carbon steel and are designed to directly damage vehicle tires when unauthorized vehicles attempt forced entry.
