Installation Guide
The PK400AC swing gate opener is suitable for single leaf gates weighing less than 400kg, with single leaf swing gate length under 2.5m. The drive system utilizes worm and worm gear combined with pinion transmission. For protection, this gate opener must be installed inside the enclosure or yard.
Installation Preparation
  • Confirm proper gate installation and smooth manual operation before installing the opener
  • Remove plastic covers from main engine and mounting base plate, keeping fasteners secure
  • For electric lock installation: maintain 40-50mm clearance between gate bottom and ground
  • Without electric lock: maintain ≥20mm clearance between gate bottom and ground
Cable Requirements
Prepare appropriate fasteners for mounting plate and wall connections, along with:
  • Main engine power cable: minimum 4 cores, cross-sectional area ≥1.5mm²
  • Main engine limit switch cable: minimum 3 cores, cross-sectional area ≥0.75mm²
  • Control box power cable: minimum 3 cores, cross-sectional area ≥1.5mm²
Important Note: Position pipe outlets facing downward to prevent rainwater from entering along the cable.
Mounting Bracket Installation
For secure PK400AC main engine installation, we recommend using expansion screws to fix the mounting brackets.
