Operation & Configuration

Initial Operation

Upon power-up, the vehicle loop detector performs automatic correction lasting 1 second. During correction, ensure no vehicles are present on the loop. Successful initialization is indicated by the "check" LED turning off. Vehicle detection activates the relay and illuminates the "check" LED.

Frequency Adjustment

Four frequency options available via DIP1 and DIP2 switches to prevent crosstalk between adjacent loops.

Sensitivity Adjustment

Sensitivity is controlled by DIP3, DIP4, and DIP5 switches. Begin with lower sensitivity settings during testing and gradually increase until stable detection is achieved.

Filter Option

DIP6 switch enables filtering in high electromagnetic interference environments. Note: Filter activation may reduce sensitivity or increase detection delay.

Output Relay Functions

Pin5, pin6, pin10 provide pulse output (500ms duration). Pin3, pin4, pin11 provide existence output while vehicle occupies loop. DIP8 switch controls duration output timing.

Duration Output Time Setting

DIP8 switch programs output duration: ON position provides unlimited duration, OFF position limits to 10 seconds with automatic reset.

Reset Function

Reset occurs during power-up, manual button press, or timeout in limited duration mode. After reset, detector initializes to vehicle-free state.
