Installation Requirements
The SW400DC swing gate opener is designed for single leaf gates weighing less than 400kg and shorter than 4m. The drive system uses worm and worm gear combined with screw rod transmission. This unit must be installed inside the enclosure or yard for protection.
Preparation Before Installation
a) Confirm proper gate installation and smooth manual operation. Ensure door limit stoppers effectively prevent over-travel.
b) Maintain 40-50mm clearance between gate bottom and ground for electric lock installation. Without electric lock, reduce clearance to 20mm.
c) Mount main machines 300-800mm above ground with reliable fixed points for mounting brackets.
