Installation Guidelines

Install the detector in a convenient, weatherproof location as close to the loop as possible. Choose installation locations away from heat sources and maintain at least 10mm distance from other devices. Proper loop configuration and detector installation are essential for successful inductive loop detection system operation. Critical loop parameters include loop figure, size, turns, and installation methods.

Operation & Indicators

Work Indicator: During power-on self-calibration (approximately 1 second), the green LED flashes while red LED extinguishes. Vehicles should not be on loops during calibration. After calibration, green LED stops flashing and red LED extinguishes. Red LED illuminates when vehicle passes over loop.

Operation & Indication: During tuning, both green Channel LED and red Power LED illuminate for approximately 2 seconds, then green LED turns off. Loop faults cause Channel LED to flash. Green LED glows during vehicle detection. Red Power LED remains on when unit is powered.

Frequency Adjustment: Eliminate interference between neighboring wire loops or detectors by altering frequency settings.

Sensitivity Settings: Four sensitivity selections available, configured via DIP3 and DIP4 switches.
