Installation Guidelines
Install in a weatherproof location near the loop, avoiding heat sources and maintaining at least 10mm clearance from other devices. Proper loop configuration including loop figure, size, turns, and installation method is critical for optimal performance.
Operation & Indicators
Upon power-up, the detector enters self-calibration (green LED flashes, red LED off) for approximately 1 second. Ensure no vehicles are on loops during calibration. After calibration, green LED stops flashing. Red LED illuminates when vehicles pass over the loop. Green channel LED indicates vehicle detection, while red power LED confirms unit is powered.
Frequency & Sensitivity Configuration
Adjust frequency settings to eliminate interference between neighboring loops. Sensitivity can be selectively configured across four settings using DIP3 and DIP4 switches to determine the necessary inductance change for output.
