Spring Selection & Adjustment
The barrier gate is factory-adjusted before delivery. If cutting the boom shorter, re-adjust the spring balance to ensure smooth operation. Speed adjustments may be needed when modifying arm length.
Spring Installation & Replacement: Keep boom in vertical (open) position, loosen spring fixing nuts at the bottom using adjustable or 8th spanner, unscrew fastening wing nuts manually, then remove the spring. Installation follows reverse procedure.
Spring Force Adjustment: When powered off, adjust spring balance so the arm stays at 45-60 degrees from horizontal without moving up or down.
