The PD132 vehicle loop detector must be installed in a convenient weatherproof location as close to the detection loop as possible, maintaining proper distance from heat sources and other equipment.

Operation and Status Indication
During tuning, both green Channel LED and red Power LED illuminate for approximately 2 seconds. The green LED indicates vehicle detection and flashes for loop faults. The red Power LED remains on when powered.
Configuration Options
Frequency adjustment prevents interference between adjacent loops. Four sensitivity settings allow selective inductance change detection. Automatic sensitivity boost provides maximum detection capability when enabled.
Filter Mode
Activated to eliminate environmental interference, delaying reaction time and reducing sensitivity. Typically disabled for normal operation.
Important: If detector malfunctions, first check loop and wiring, then adjust frequency or sensitivity settings, and finally enable filter mode if necessary.
Output Relay Configuration
DIP7 switch controls relay behavior: OFF energizes both relays during detection; ON provides sequenced relay activation with timing delays.
Presence Time Settings
Configurable as permanent presence (continuous environmental compensation) or limited presence (10 minutes maximum).
Reset Function
Automatic tuning occurs on power application. Manual reset via RESET switch initiates tuning cycle after configuration changes or relocation.
