The PK series is our flagship line of linear-actuator-style swing gate openers, designed primarily for international export projects. The PK500DC is the new, heavy-duty, flagship DC24V model in this series. Positioned above the PK300DC and PK350DC, it is specifically engineered for large, heavy aluminum or wrought-iron courtyard gates. It is also a highly popular, EU-standard model.

Overview of the PK Series Swing Gate Openers

The PK series consists of linear-arm (screw-drive) swing gate openers, which differ from underground or articulated-arm (curved-arm) systems:

✅ Power System: Operates on DC24V; supports backup battery and solar power configurations—a preferred solution for exports to the EU, the Middle East, and South America.

PK300DC: For single-leaf gates up to 300kg and 2.5m wide; 340mm stroke; suitable for smaller courtyard gates.

PK350DC: For single-leaf gates up to 300kg and 3m wide; 540mm stroke; the preferred choice for wider gates.

PK500DC (New Heavy-Duty Model): For single-leaf gates up to 500kg and 5m wide; 445mm stroke; designed for large, heavy-duty gates.

Key Technical Specifications for the PK500DC

Upgrades in the PK500DC compared to the previous PK300/350DC models:

Significantly increased thrust (up to 2600N), supporting single-leaf gates as long as 5 meters. Many large aluminum or openwork iron gates may not appear heavy, but their substantial length and large surface area create immense wind resistance. While the PK350DC might overheat or trigger false obstruction alerts under such conditions, the PK500DC offers ample heavy-duty capacity, making it ideal for windy, coastal regions.

Mechanical limit switch design: Unlike systems relying solely on current-based limit detection, this model features built-in mechanical limit switches. These provide precise, hard-stop positioning for both opening and closing, preventing issues like "position drift" or incomplete closure caused by gate sagging or changes in friction—ensuring greater stability on construction sites or in low-temperature environments.

Expanded control board functionality: Includes a "pedestrian mode" (allowing a single gate leaf to open independently), an adjustable automatic closing delay (0–90 seconds), and a dedicated electric lock output. It integrates seamlessly with access control systems, license plate recognition, and fire alarm signals. An optional Wi-Fi module is also available for remote control via smartphone.

Enhanced structural sealing and higher IP rating: The housing features thicker, improved sealing, and the actuator’s lead screw is protected by a dust-proof rubber sleeve, offering superior durability in coastal, salt-spray environments compared to previous models.

Optimized manual release mechanism: In the event of a power outage, the gate can be unlocked using a dedicated key, allowing it to be moved by hand—a safety feature highly valued by international clients.
